That belief led us to build CyFireAI. It wasn't engineered from theory; it came from the lived experience of risk advisors, technologists, operators, and crisis-response professionals who have seen what happens when high-stakes decisions are made without prior practice.

We've watched too many boardrooms learn the hard way.

CyFireAI was founded by incident responders, insurance underwriters and ex-CISOs who kept showing up to the same fire — leadership teams that had a policy on the shelf but no muscle memory in the room. We built the tool we wished we'd had at 3 AM.

Angel Mosley is a cybersecurity and risk-management leader with more than 20 years of experience across cybersecurity, privacy, compliance, IT audit, and executive advisory. As founder and CEO of CyBase Risk Management, she leads the vision, product strategy, customer experience, partnerships, and go-to-market execution for CyFireAI. Angel also founded CyberSecurity GameChangers, a nonprofit that introduces students to careers in technology and cybersecurity.

His background includes serving as CISO of E*TRADE, Chief Security Officer of Cotiviti, advising the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and holding leadership roles within the global incident-response community. At CyFireAI, Steve guides enterprise security strategy, technical rigor, scenario realism, and platform readiness.
